The Past Has Been Expecting You

For one evening, Tamara Haus becomes a passage through time.

The journey begins at the Grand Reception, where the present begins to loosen its hold. From there, guests move through atmospheric chapters inspired by different moments in the building's story.

A voice may emerge from behind a door. A scent may seem to belong to another decade. A room may appear to remember the people who once occupied it. This is not a conventional performance. It is an evening to wander through, listen to and experience.

    Arrive beneath the historic façade and receive your invitation to travel.

  2. The Portal of Time

    7:50 p.m.

    Step inside the ascenseur as light, sound and atmosphere signal the transition between eras.

  3. Rooms That Remember

    8:10 p.m.

    Move through performances and installations inspired by residents, visitors and forgotten conversations.

  4. The Salon Gathers

    9:15 p.m.

    Pause for a live reading connecting Downtown history with contemporary voices.

  5. When Evening Falls

    9:45 p.m.

    The journey concludes with music and conversation as the house slowly returns to the present.
